New use for old gift cards
I’ve been looking for a stand for my iPhone that will allow me record the sermons at Lakeside.
There must be a tripod attachment for it, so I went searching. In my travels on the internets I came across a really simple stand for an iPod, iPhone, or any Handheld device.
So I went to the junk drawer, pulled out an old iTunes gift card, grabbed a pair of needle-nose pliers and gave it a shot.
Turns out it works great, doubles as a business card holder, can be straightened put in your wallet, is free, and repurposed.
Finally a use for all those expired gift cards.

Sold!
Well, what has been on our hearts for a number of years is finally a reality. We’re moving out of the Lower Mainland and into a small town.
Our house in Surrey has sold and we have purchased a home on a treed 5 acres in Salmon Arm, the largest town in the Shuswap.
I will continue to work for http://www.thewellspringfoundation.com and am so thankful for that!
My role will pretty much stay the same as the Communications Manager, with one addition: I will start to make new connections and nurture existing one in the Okanagan/Shuswap.
We are really excited to start the next chapter in our lives.
